La Sainte-Chapelle (The Holy Chapel) is a Gothic chapel on the Île de la Cité in the center of Paris, France. It may be the pinnacle of the full tide of the rayonnante period of Gothic architecture.
La Sainte-Chapelle is my favorite church building in Paris though I admittedly have not seen enough churches in the city to be a very good judge. Yet, in ignorance, I maintain it is my favorite.
